Upcoming 2017 Auctions:

The JULY 15, 2017 HOTTER ’N HELL ANTIQUE TOOL AUCTION is in the books and, soon, we will begin sorting and lotting those tools that will make up the 10th Annual St. Charles Antique Tool Auction, September 23, 2017 at 9:30 AM. This sale will feature more of the tool collections we recently brought home from rural Green Mountain, Vermont and from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And between now and then we’ll be picking up additional tools in Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. If you have gear you want to get into one of the two remaining auctions of this year or one of the six auctions we’ve scheduled for 2018, give us a call or drop us an email.

DO YOU HAVE ANTIQUE TOOLS, ANTIQUE KITCHEN GADGETS, SURVEYING INSTRUMENTS; FARM PRIMITIVES OR RELATED ANTIQUES FOR SALE? CONTACT MIKE@GREATPLANESTRADING.COM ABOUT SCHEDULING AN AUCTION OR ADDING YOUR ITEMS TO AN ALREADY SCHEDULED AUCTION. ALL INQUIRIES WILL BE HELD IN STRICT CONFIDENCE.

A 12 percent buyers premium is now charged at our tool sales unless outherwise advertised by us. We do not like having to charge it, but it has been at 10 percent for the past 10 years while our competition has been charging 15 to 20 percent or more. We use the buyers premium we collect to offset the ever-increasing costs (fuel, hotels, advertising and rental vehicles) associated with putting our sales together. By not having to pass all these costs onto our consigners, we are able to attract better consignments and offer competitive rates.
